Meet Amy
Hello, I’m Amy Marie “Amy” Lolling, a professionally trained and Certified Birth Doula (CD) through DONA International, with additional professional training in postpartum care and breastfeeding.
As part of your birth team, I care for you during your pregnancy journey - providing prenatal, labor & delivery, and post-natal support. I provide physical and emotional support, and evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions for your care.
I feel every pregnancy and birth is a unique miracle. My passion for supporting someone fully - not just physically, but body, mind, and soul - is central to how I approach my practice. I have always been a nurturer and have worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for over 15 years in Family Practice, Gastroenterology, and finally OB/GYN, which is what took me to this wonderful doula world!
Although I do not have children of my own, I do have 10 nieces and 2 nephews! I am married to the absolute love of my life Daryl and we have a dog Lucy (Aussie) and three cats Jonsey, Willow and Hazel. In my free time when I am not "doulaing" my husband and I love to be out on the pontoon on Lake Waconia and hanging out with friends and family. Lots of dog walks too.
Please contact me and set up a free initial consultation. I truly look forward to meeting you!
God Bless!
Amy
My first doula baby! I had the honor to help support his Mom and Dad with their baby boy. It was a beautiful vaginal spont birth.
Employment

WHAT IS SUPPORT? (A POEM)
Support is unconditional.
It is listening…
not judging, not telling your own story.
Support is not offering advice…it is offering a handkerchief, a touch, a hug…caring.
We are here to help women discover what they are feeling…
not make the feelings go away.
We are here to help a woman identify her options…
not tell her which options to choose.
We are here to discuss steps with a woman…
not to take the steps for her.
We are here to help a woman discover her own strength…
not to rescue her and leave her still vulnerable.
We are here to help a woman discover she can help herself…
not to take that responsibility for her.
We are here to help a woman learn to choose…
not to make it unnecessary for her to make difficult choices.
